Other academic positions: since 2009, he has been a member of the Comissão Paritária Santa Sé - República Portuguesa, a mixed international commission to supervise the application of the 2004 Concordat; he is, since 2015, Coordinator of the Study Group Libertas Religionis, a consortium of professors connected to the CIJ.
