Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Porto.
She holds a Master's degree in Legal and Economic Sciences from the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Coimbra and a PhD in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Porto.
She has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Porto, since its inception in 1995, and is a researcher at CIJ—Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice.
She is a founding member of the Associação de Estudos Laborais and serves on the editorial board of the journal “Questões Laborais”. She is also a member of APODIT— Associação Portuguesa de Direito do Trabalho, where she is part of the management board.
Her research has focused on Labour Law, particularly on the various forms of employment contractual relationships, workers' personality rights, equality law, and the flexibility of labour relations, areas to which she has also dedicated herself in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
She has participated in numerous national and international congresses and conferences and has been involved in CEJ training sessions and public parliamentary hearings on specialist topics. Her publications are extensively cited in the case law of higher courts and in many of the most significant works of legal and labour law literature.
