Carlos Arroyo-Abad holds a PhD in Law from Universidade Alfonso X El Sabio and is a Professor of Labour Law and Social Security since 1999.
 
Currently he is a university professor at the followings institutions Real Centro Universitario Escorial María Cristina; Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio; Universidad Internacional de La Rioja; Universidad Católica de Ávila and Universidad Camilo José Cela (Spain), focusing his teaching in the areas of Labour Law, Social Security and International recruitment.

Similarly, he has been a professor at the Escuela Nacional de Policía and has contributed internationally to different courses, seminars and conferences at the Universidade Sopkia Antipolis in Nice, France; the Universidade de Liubliana, Slovenia; Universidad Estatal de Riga, Latvia; the University of Porto and the Universidade Portucalense, both from Porto, Portugal; as well as the Instituto Patrístico Agustiniano in the Vatican. 
 
Member of CIELO Laboral and of the AIP, he has numerous scientific publications in Spain and abroad.
