Lara Carvalho
Scholarship Researcher
Lara Carvalho is a scholarship researcher at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice (CIJ) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto. She is currently finalising her Master's degree in Criminology at that same university.
In 2022, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology from Universidade Lusíada – Norte and still as part of her degree, she did an internship at the Comissão de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens from Vizela.
Over the years, she has attended several conferences and recently presented a poster entitled “The influence of risk and protective facts on female antisocial behaviour” at the Investigação Jovem da Universidade do Porto (IJUP).
Her main areas of interest include developmental criminology, juvenile delinquency and gender studies in criminology.
