CIJ has a new Board of Directors , chaired by Rita Faria and composed of Anabela Leão (Deputy Director), Helena Mota, Pedro Sousa, and José Neves Cruz (Members).
The main goal of the new Board of Directors is to execute the plan that allowed FCT to improve its assessment of CIJ in the last evaluation round.
Under the motto “Justice with innovation and sustainability”, work will be conducted with respect for principles such as Open Access and Open Science, interdisciplinarity, internationalisation (including with Portuguese-speaking countries), competitiveness for funding opportunities, societal impact, (re)connecting with public and private stakeholders, and developing research in current and complex topics that serve to respond to the main challenges of Justice, particularly in the European context.
