From July 28 to 30, 2025, CIJ researchers Graça Enes, Inês Neves, and Tiago Morais Rocha took part in the Annual Conference of the International Society of Public Law, the world’s largest scientific gathering in Public Law, held in Brasília. The 2025 conference was dedicated to the topic “At the Crossroads of Public Law: Equality, Climate Emergency, and Democracy in the Digital Era.”
There, the most pressing and emerging issues related to digitalisation, sustainability, democracy, and fundamental rights were debated by over one thousand public law scholars from dozens of countries.
CIJ researchers participated in the panel “Transatlantic Dialogues in the Digital Age: An EU-Brazil comparison of the protection of rights in the Digital Age,” an extraordinary opportunity to discuss the research developed since 2022 within the scope of the DigEUCit project.
