Mária Calmeiro

Junior Researcher

Mária Calmeiro is an Invited Assistant Professor at FDUP - School of Criminology, University of Porto since 2020. She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Criminology and is currently pursuing a PhD in Criminology at the same institution. Her doctoral project, awarded funding by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), concerns an organizational life cycle analysis of environmental compliance of businesses in the chemical industry. Her main research interests include public perceptions of crime, white-collar crime and environmental crime.
