SAVE THE DATE & Call for Abstracts: ‘Global Law and Health Congress - Guaranteeing and promoting health in a context of growing innovation and an ageing world’

The call for abstracts to present a (individual or joint) communication at the Law and Global Health Congress - Ensuring and Promoting Health in a Context of Growing Innovation and an Ageing World, held under the CIJ's gLAWbalHEALTH Project, is open until 15 October 2024.

The congress will take place at the FDUP on 21 November 2024.

The papers should focus on the legal challenges posed by the regulation and legal treatment of global health in the context of today's society of great scientific advances, increasing digitalisation and the use of new AI devices, in the light of the 2030 Agenda: Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Abstracts of papers should include:
- Identification and home institution;
- Professional affiliation of the author or co-authors;
- Title, keywords and abstract in Portuguese and English;
- Abstract of up to 150 words;
- Maximum of 6 keywords
 
The working language will be Portuguese.
Applicants must send a brief curriculum vitae in addition to the abstract of the intervention they intend to present.

The acceptance decision for presentation at the Conference to be held on 21 November will be based on a scientific review process and will be communicated by 4 November.
