Leonor Pizarro Monteiro

Junior Researcher

Leonor Pizarro Monteiro is a law graduate from the Faculty of Law at the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto School, and holds a Master's in Legal and Private Sciences from the Faculty of Law at the University of Porto (2014). She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Law at the University of Porto's Faculty of Law.
She is a lecturer in the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Lusófona University - Porto University Center, with her research focused on Labor Law.
Leonor was a guest trainer in the Bar Association's Advocacy Internship Program, at the Porto District Council, within the scope of the Supplementary Training Course for the 2nd phase of the Internship, where she taught the optional module "Insolvency Proceedings."
Collaborating with IDET (Institute of Business and Labor Law) and ISVOUGA (Higher Institute of Entre Douro e Vouga), she contributes to Postgraduate Courses in Labor Law. She was a Guest Lecturer in the Postgraduate Course in Labor Law organized by the Court of Appeal of Porto and the CIJ (2019).
Invited Researcher at the Francisco Suarez Advanced Studies Center in Law (CEAD), Lawyer, presently with a suspended registration with the Bar Association.
