She is a PhD student at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, where her research is centered on the use of new technologies in the context of the prison system. She has a master's degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Universidade Federal Fluminense, with a thesis entitled “Conflict Mediation, New Perspectives: Theoretical Analysis and Case Study on the Integration of Mediation into the Field of Public Policies in General and Public Security." She has worked as a substitute lecturer at the Universidade Federal do Ceará and Universidade Regional do Cariri. Her areas of interest include access to justice, criminology, fundamental rights and restorative justice.
