Camila Iglesias

Junior Researcher

Camila Iglesias holds a degree in Law, a master's degree in Criminology from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and is a PhD scholarship student in Criminology from the same institution - a scholarship funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). She is an instructor in the field of gender-based violence, gender equality and risk assessment in domestic violence. Over the past years, she has collaborated as a researcher on various nationally and internationally funded research projects focusing on gender-based violence, particularly intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and femicide. She is also a researcher at the European Observatory on Femicide (Portugal country group) and the Observatory of Murdered Women of UMAR.
