Camila Iglesias

Junior Researcher

Camila Iglesias holds a degree in Law, a master's degree in Criminology from the Faculty of Law at the University of Porto, and is a doctoral fellow in Criminology at the same institution, supported by a scholarship funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). She is a trainer in the field of gender-based violence, gender equality, and risk assessment in domestic violence. Over the past years, she has collaborated as a researcher on various nationally and internationally funded research projects focusing on gender-based violence, particularly intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and femicide. She is also a researcher at the European Observatory on Femicide (Portugal country group) and the Observatory of Murdered Women of UMAR.
