Junior Researcher

Graduate and PhD in Criminology from the Faculty of Criminology of the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto.
Chief of Police, he works in the Technical and Forensic Police Unit of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Metropolitan Command of the PSP of Porto.
Professional career marked, since 1999, by the performance of functions linked to the area of criminal investigation, with emphasis on the period from 2019 to 2023, in which, within the scope of international cooperation, he was on a service commission at FRONTEX, with placement in Hungary, Georgia, Montenegro, Serbia and Bulgaria.
Throughout his professional career he specialized in Motor Crime Investigation, Environmental Crimes and Medical-Legal Sciences.
Following his academic career, he worked as a trainer at the PSP Police School.
