Ana Oliveira has a PhD in Psychology from the Faculdade de Psicologia e Ciências da Educação at the University of Porto. She is a member of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses and a specialist in Justice Psychology and Clinical and Health Psychology. She is a guest assistant professor at the Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT). She has collaborated on research projects in the areas of health, trauma, justice and violence, presented several papers at scientific events and published in national and international journals. She is an instructor in the behavioural, psychosocial and victimisation areas. She works at the Associação Portuguesa de Apoio à Vítima (APAV) as a victim support technician and manager of the victim support office at Departamento de Investigação e Ação Penal (DIAP) in Faro and is responsible for the Unidade de Apoio à Vitimação em Massa.
