Degree in Police Sciences from the Higher Institute of Internal Security and Phd in Criminology at the Faculty of Law, University of Porto.
Senior Police Officer, performs functions in Portuguese National Police, in the field of Criminal Investigation.
In his professional career, he has been leading and coordinating national and international projects, representing the Ministry of Internal Affairs, standing out the participation in the Europol Working Groups and the nomination has an expert in cooperation with the National Police of Cape Verde.
Throughout his professional career, he has developed several specialization courses, of which he stands out:
1. Criminal Investigation;
2. Negotiator and Management of Tactical Police Incidents - Special Operations Group.
3. Economic Financial Crime and Cyber ​​crime - Irish Police – An Garda Síochána, Republic of Ireland.
4. Strategic Analysis of Criminal Information - Higher Institute of Judicial Police and Criminal Sciences.

As a result of his academic training and specializations, he has performed various training roles in schools and police institutes in Portugal.
He is an Invited Assistant Professor at School of Criminology, Faculty of Law, University of Porto, specialized in the field of justice and security.
