The FDUP PhD student and CIJ grant holder, Fernanda Magalhães, is one of the 20 finalists of the U.Porto 3MT® competition, with the thesis Smart Contracts and Blockchain: possible solutions in a crisis.
The U.Porto 3MT® is an academic competition for doctoral students patented by the University of Queensland (UQ), in which students are challenged to explain to a non-specialized audience the importance and significance of their research in less than 3 minutes, and using a single slide.
In the academic year 2021/2022, U.Porto has joined this competition, offering doctoral students the opportunity to put their communication skills into practice. It is also an opportunity for students to get together, meet and interact, sharing research with each other and with the wider community!
The final competition of the 2nd edition 2022/2023 will take place at the Rectory of the U.Porto, next May 19th, at 3pm.
