DigEUCit DigEUCit project receives visit from the Portuguese Secretary of State for Digitisation and Administrative Modernisation

The team of DigEUCit // A Digital Europe for Citizens // Constitutional and Public Policy Challenges, coordinated by Graça Enes (Coordinator and Researcher at CIJ) and including, in the team, Inês Neves and Tiago Morais Rocha (Researchers at CIJ), will receive, on April 17, 2023, the Portuguese Secretary of State for Digitisation and Administrative Modernisation, Mário Campolargo, to present the ongoing project and reflect on the role of digitisation as a driving force in academic research on the future of public policies.

The Secretary of State for Digitisation and Administrative Modernisation has extensive European experience in the field of digitisation, having, among others, been Deputy Director General and Director General of the European Commission's Directorate General for Informatics (DIGIT) from 2016 to 2022, responsible for the overall strategic and operational coordination of the Directorate General, the definition and implementation of the European Commission's Digital Strategy and the transition of Commission services to teleworking during the pandemic, with particular attention to the creation of a digital culture and cybersecurity issues.
