Luísa Eckenroth Moreira

Collaborator Researcher

Luísa Eckenroth Moreira has been a Guest Assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto since 2019, where she has collaborated in teaching the subjects of Introduction to Law and Law of Obligations.

She is a collaborating researcher at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice (CIJ) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto.

She is a lawyer (although her registration with the Bar Association is currently suspended at her own request). She practiced law in the Corporate, M&A, and Private Equity department of PLMJ Lawyers, SP, RL.

She holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Law (with a specialization in Civil-Law Sciences) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto. She is currently attending the IX Postgraduate Course in Corporate Governance, organised by the Research Center for Private Law (CIDP) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. She is also in the process of applying for a Ph.D. at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto.

She is fluent in German and English.

Her preferred research areas are Civil Law (particularly the Law of Obligations) and Commercial and Corporate Law. More recently, she has been developing her research around corporate sustainability issues and the contribution that Corporate Law can make towards the transition to a more sustainable economy.
