She is currently a Professor of Civil Law at the Universidade de La Rioja (Spain).
She has a PhD in Civil Law (2007) with a thesis on mortgage credit, for which she was awarded the Extraordinary Doctorate Prize and the “Sancho Rebullida” National Prize. University teaching experience of more than 12 years in all university cycles, directing numerous end-of-degree research projects Research experience of more than 20 years, with numerous publications (single authorship monographs, co-authored works, book coordination, participation in collective books and author of numerous articles in prestigious magazines), speaker at numerous conferences, seminars and conferences, member of various research groups, as well as research projects since 2001.
Her main lines of research are focused on: a) contracts (especially in the area of credit) and consumer protection, on issues related to transparency and abusive clauses; b) housing (access, rental incentives and collaborative housing); and c) issues related to the digital field, such as electronic contracting and virtual platforms.
