Sandra Oliveira e Silva

Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, where she teaches ​​Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure in undergraduate degrees and masters in Criminology and Law.PhD in Law from the Faculty of Law of U. Porto (2016). The dissertation was graded as Approved with Distinction, the highest grade awarded by the University of Porto, and awarded an Honorable Mention in the 3rd edition of the IAB Prize (2017). Master in Criminal Law Sciences from the Faculty of Law of U. Coimbra (2006), with the classification of Very Good with Distinction (18 points in 20). Law Degree from the Faculty of Law of U. Porto (2000).
Founding member of the Portuguese Society of Criminology (SPC), as well as the Interdisciplinary Center for Crime, Justice and Security of the School of Criminology (CJS), and researcher of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice (CIJ) of the Faculty of Law of U. Porto. Collaborates with the Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences Research Center (CIDPCC) of the Faculty of Law of U. Lisboa. Guest researcher at the Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Strafrecht and fellow at the Deutscher Akademischer Austauch Dienst (DAAD). Permanent contributor to the Revista Portuguesa de Ciência Criminal (RPCC). Participates regularly in national and international seminars and conferences as a speaker and or organizer and has published work in national and foreign magazines.
