Open Class/Debate "Democracy is also made in the European Union. The importance of elections to the European Parliament"

The Open Class/Debate "Democracy is also made in the European Union. The importance of the elections to the European Parliament", promoted by the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto (FDUP), the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice (CIJ) and APDE (Portuguese Association of European Law), as part of the European elections on 9 June, will take place on May 16th 2024, at 4pm.
 
This open lecture/debate, which is part of the DUE II curricular unit and the CIJ's line of research "Europe in the national and international context", is aimed not only at FDUP students, but also at anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of the importance of the upcoming elections, the European Union, its role in the world and its institutions.
 
The lecture will be given by Dr Carlos Botelho Moniz - President of the APDE Board of Directors / MLGTS Partner, and Prof Graça Enes, Director of the CIJ/FDUP.
 
The event will take place in room 229 of the FDUP. Admission is free.
