III Edition of the "Online Course on the Concrete Supervision of Constitutionality"

It is with the greatest honour that the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and the CIJ - Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice invite you to attend the III Edition of the Intensive Online Course - Concrete Supervision of Constitutionality, which will take place between the 16th and 31st of January 2024 (with sessions between 18:30 and 20:00).
 
As a mixed system - of diffuse and concentrated judicial review via appeal - the concrete successive review of constitutionality occupies an obvious place in the concerns of legal professionals, as well as in the volume of cases dealt with by the Constitutional Court. However, observation of judicial practice points to a very low level of success of the requests for non-application of rules on grounds of unconstitutionality submitted by the parties to the courts a quo and to the Constitutional Court.
 
These findings are the focus and motivation behind the organisation of the third edition of this course.
