Under the Protocol signed with the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (USP), the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and its Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice will be hosting, from 13 to 17 November, students from USP's postgraduate course in administrative law, dedicated to administrative procedure from a Portuguese-Brazilian perspective.
As part of this initiative, the FDUP would like to invite its students and anyone else interested to attend the opening conference, which will be held on 13 November from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and the closing round table, which will take place on 17 November from 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
The opening conference will focus on "The democratic rule of law and the proceduralisation of administrative will", and the closing round table on "Forms of control of administrative procedure".
The two events will be attended by Professors Fernando Menezes and Marcos Perez, from the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo, and Professor Juliana Ferraz Coutinho, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto.
The opening conference will be moderated by Professor Paulo de Tarso Domingues, Director of the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto.
The closing round table will be moderated by Professor Miguel Pestana de Vasconcelos, Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and Judge Counsellor of the Court of Auditors.
