This presentation will be led by Eduardo Corral García (University of Cadiz), Ángel Ballesteros Barros (University of Cadiz) and Helena Mota (FDUP/CIJ).
The "Guía Formativa.Identidad Islámica e Orden Público" is published as an e-book by Thomson-Reuters Aranzadi.
It is a work structured in thirteen chapters that seeks to expose, in an orderly and synthetic way, the main institutions that characterize Islamic law, what effects it has, or may have, on other legal systems, such as the Spanish or Portuguese, and how these react when asked to reconcile the respect for international public order in the European Union, namely in Portugal or Spain, and the fundamental right to religious freedom.
Its basic content focuses on family and succession law, labor law, and private international law.
