Some Considerations About Current Real Estate Registration

The Conference "Some Considerations on the Current Real Estate Registration" took place at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto on November 16, 2016. The basic objectives that were accomplished with the holding of this Conference were to contribute to the revitalization of meetings of legal and economic research, one of the relevant purposes of the CIJ; and to draw attention to some of the most significant legal changes that have crucially and manifestly modernized land registration in order to overcome its purely advertising purpose, making it above all a suitable instrument for securing and boosting the real estate legal trade being equally prepared to meet the demands of the current information society.
