30th Commemorative Congress of the Commercial Corporate Code

The Faculty of Law of the University of Porto (FDUP) organized a Commemorative Congress of the 30th anniversary of the Commercial Companies Code, on November 18 and 19, 2016, in Salão Nobre, with the participation of the greatest Portuguese societarists from all over the world. Portuguese public law schools, as well as the Catholic University (Porto and Lisbon) and the University of Macau.
The purpose of the Congress was to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Portuguese Commercial Company Code, a pivotal diploma in corporate law, not only Portuguese but of all Lusophony, as several codes from different Lusophone countries were strongly influenced by our diploma.

It was attended by the academic community, judges, lawyers, trainee lawyers, and forum professionals in general, among other professionals with interest in the subject.
