2nd Edition of the Continuous Training Course - A DIGITAL EUROPE FOR CITIZENS

The Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and the CIJ - Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice have the honour of announcing the opening of registrations for the Continuing Education Course "ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AT THE SERVICE OF THE PEOPLE", corresponding to the 2nd edition of the Course - A Digital Europe for Citizens.
 
The course, with a total duration of 30 contact hours and equivalent to 3 ECTS, is structured in three modules, which will take place over three weeks, between 4 and 22 March 2024, from Monday to Friday, between 6pm to 8pm. Trainees can choose to participate in just one (1) or two (2) of the three (3) modules.
 
The course will take place in person at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, in a room to be designated. Alternatively, those interested may opt for the e-learning system (with synchronous classes), in which case it will be a Free Course, not subject to accreditation (nor, therefore, to final assessment).

The course is part of the Jean Monnet Module project "A Digital Europe for Citizens. Constitutional and Policymaking Challenges", which is coordinated by Graça Enes and also includes Inês Neves and Tiago Morais Rocha in the team, Manuela Santos in administrative support and a group of junior collaborators. With financial support from the European Union, the project aims to promote excellent teaching and research on Digital Europe and its constitutional and policy-making challenges, and will last three years.

In addition to sessions with guest speakers, the course will also be attended by the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Administrative Modernisation, Mário Campolargo, on 21 March
 
Places on the course are limited and are partly reserved for full-time attendance, which will be prioritised.
