Autonomy and Empowerment Seminar: The Challenges of Disabled Citizens

The Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and the Centro de Investigação Jurídico-Económica (CIJ) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto organized the Seminar "Autonomy and Empowerent: The Challenges of Citizens with Disabilities". This Seminar brought together researchers who sought to discuss basic themes in the area of ​​vulnerability, care, protection and self-determination of disabled citizens, with the subjects being debated of greatest interest to the general public. Also noteworthy was the presence of guest speakers, who combine academic knowledge and research with public intervention, including guest speakers from the Independent Living Center and the Cerebral Palsy Port Association (APPC).
