Final Conference of the IN2PREV Project "Connecting law enforcement, NGOs, researchers, and civil society for refugee inclusion and radicalisation prevention"

On October 1st, the Final Conference of the IN2PREV Project will take place, bringing together experts and practitioners to reflect and share knowledge on refugee integration, the prevention of radicalisation, and the promotion of social inclusion.

This event is co-organised by the School of Criminology, University of Porto (FDUP), CIJ , and IPS - Innovative Prison Systems, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, NGOs, academia, public authorities, and civil society.

Conference Highlights - discussions on:

• Refugee integration and coordination of public policies.

• Ethical and human rights considerations in refugee reception.

• Discussions on hate crimes, radicalisation prevention, and professional practices in integration.

• Presentation of IN2PREV results on risk assessment, mentoring for inclusion, inter-agency cooperation, and training.

• Roundtable on applying IN2PREV findings to current challenges.
